Open Source is old news in IT circles. From Richard Stallman’s introduction of the Free Software Foundation in 1983 to the emblematic “Linux” operating system and the “Open Source Initiative” in 1991 and beyond, Open Source concepts now have the look and feel of “Big Iron”, especially to younger IT staff.
